CA — Professor boycotts mandatory sexual harassment training.  University allegedly retaliates.  Conflict between free speech rights and politically correct training?

PA — Class action fraud alive and well in Philly.  It is not employment law, but given the plethora of employment-related class actions…..

CA — Laid-off Thelen associates file WARN Act lawsuit in federal court.  The case follows a similar state court filing by a former receptionist.  The Law.com article has links to copies of the complaints.

PA — Federal judge upholds arbitration award against Haliburton brought by pro se litigant.  According to the article, “A federal judge has refused to overturn an arbitrator’s award in favor of a former Halliburton worker who claimed he was fired from a job in Iraq because of a sexual harassment complaint that the company never investigated.”  The employee represented himself in the arbitration and in federal court.
